How to remove your Backpack of burden (Secret of the light burden)

We all carry a heavy burden like a backpack until we respond to Jesus and he shows us the secret of the light burden, following Him.

“Come to me all who are weary and carry heavy burdens and I will give you rest…” Matthew 11:29

3 Parts to the Light Burden:

  1. Come to Jesus

  2. Exchange of burdens

  3. Learn from him - follow him

Jesus’ Resurrection (7 Hopes)

If Jesus didn’t rise then Christianity is a lie but If Jesus rose from the dead then we have hope that everything will be okay!

“For if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised either. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your faith is useless. 15 And we apostles would all be lying about God—for we have said that God raised Christ from the grave.” 1 Corinthians 15:13-15

How do I get right with God? (4 Steps)

In this video I explain four steps or dimensions to being made right with God from Romans 3:22-24.

“We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.” Romans 3:22-24

4 Steps:

  1. Believe God is worth being on good terms with

  2. Be honest about our sin, error, fragility, weakness

  3. Decide: Get right your way or God’s Way

  4. God requires Faith not works (done not do)
